English: View of Avon Valley On one of the footpaths from Upper Westwood to the River Avon, this view is over a cow pasture, unused at present, looking toward Freshford with Limpley Stoke beyond.
The railway line to the right, at the bottom of the valley, runs from Bath to Bradford on Avon and Westbury. The River Avon is this side of the railway and there is a glimpse of the Kennet & Avon Canal beyond. |
