Description
Deutsch: Viktoriaschule, Frankfurt am Main; Margarete Lotte Maria Flersheim (geboren am 9. März 1904 in Frankfurt am Main; gestorben als Margarete Wertheim 1940 in Brüssel, Belgien) absolvierte die Viktoriaschule und schloss Ostern 1923 mit dem Abitur ab. Danach studierte sie Literatur an der Ruprecht-Karls-Universität in Heidelberg und an der Universität Frankfurt am Main. 1927 heiratete sie den Gerichtsassessor Dr. iur. Rudolf Wertheim (geboren am 16. Juli 1895 in Frankfurt am Main; ermordet am 11. September 1942 im Konzentrations- und Vernichtungslager Auschwitz-Birkenau), mit dem sie im Folgejahr den Sohn Hans (1928–1942) bekam. – Zitiert nach: Ernst Carl Flersheim: Lebenserinnerungen (Brüssel, 1938), S. 23.
