  • Dansk: Motivet blev identificeret som et landskab nær herregården Vognserup i Vestsjælland i 1956 (jf. Jørn Rubow, "Fem års tilvæxt af ældre dansk maleri", Kunstmuseets Årsskrift, XXXIX-XLII, 1956, s. 117f.). I forbindelse med fraskriviningen af værket fra Lundbye blev også identifikationen af motivet som Vognserup opgivet, og det må betragtes som et dansk, formodentlig sjællandsk motiv.
