Description : Vue en direction ouest-nord-ouest de la façade principale de la villa Bijou, intégrée dans la façade sud du couvent des Soeurs de Saint-Joseph-de-Saint-Vallier. Une demeure est construite sur ce site pour l'homme d'affaires Andrew Thomson, d'après les plans de l'architecte Edward Staveley. En 1874, la villa Bijou est reconstruite dans le style Second Empire d'après les plans de l'architecte Harry Staveley, fils d'Edward. Elle est habitée pendant 50 ans par la famille Thomson, avant d'être acquise par les Soeurs de Saint-Joseph-de-Saint-Vallier en 1911, qui y ouvrent une école pour filles.
