Description

Un tempo la comunità ROM esprimeva abili artigiani specializzati nella lavorazione del ferro battuto, erano rinomati per la produzione, spesso su misura, di utensili domestici in ferro. Molto abili anche nella ferratura di muli e cavalli. Nelle fotografie si nota, a terra, anche uno strumento musicale noto come scacciapensieri ma anche come tromba degli zingari si tratta di uno strumento diffuso, con alcune varianti, in tutta l'Europa meridionale e in Asia, fino all'India. Probabilmente è stato portato al seguito delle popolazioni ROM nelle loro millenarie migrazioni. I ROM frequentavano fiere, mercati e feste e proponevano al pubblico la loro produzione estemporanea.
