Description
English: Village scene, Holne Monument to William Wingfield Yates. Small granite obelisk (circa 1858) with inscription, on a granite plinth. Inscribed "Erected by the inhabitants of the Parish to perpetuate the memory of Wm Wingfield Yates who died at Holne Cottage the 28th day of February 1857. The postbox is modern with a K6 type telephone box beside it.
