Deutsch: Vorderseite: IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG. Drapierte Panzerbüste des Gordianus III. mit Lorbeerkranz in der Rückenansicht nach r.

Rückseite: P M S C-OL VIM // AN III. Weibliche Gestalt (mit Mauerkrone?) steht in der Vorderansicht, Kopf nach l., umgeben von Stier und Löwe.

Kommentar: Seit 239 n. Chr. prägte Viminacium Münzen mit der Legende P(rovincia) M(oesia) S(uperior) COL(onia) VIM(inacium). Die Stadt war möglicherweise unter Gordianus zur Kolonie erhoben worden und datierte von diesem Termin an, d. h. hier im Jahr drei nach ihrer Erhebung (241/242 n. Chr.), ihre Ära. Nach Martin (1992) 14 f. ist die Frauengestalt die Personifikation der Provinz Moesia, der Stier ist das Feldzeichen der Legio VII Claudia, der Löwe das der Legio IIII Flavia.
