Summary edit

Description
English: The Maypole dance occurs annually as part of Logger Sports events during the May long weekend. The foreground mountain ash is a sample of Vimy Park's relaxing beauty. The pictured facilities are a small part of the park, which includes a ball field, picnic shelter, playground, day care centre, and lots more shade trees. The park is steps away from Kootenay Lake, just across the street.
