English: My idea at the start was to keep it as simple and raw as possible, with as few instruments as possible. The reason for this is that I'm currently sitting in the cold basement while I rip the baby blue wallpaper from the walls of my future studio room. The cold isn't kind to my instruments, so I thought I'd lean into that. I wanted more of a live feel, and I think with that it might seem a bit sloppy, but it's somewhat intentional sloppiness. I'm usually pretty picky with timing and tuning, recording in shorter bursts to make sure everything is as in time and tune as possible. This time I recorded whole sections and just left a bunch of mistakes and creaky noises everywhere.
I like that the song isn't trying to be something it isn't, it's just a simple little tune reflecting my current state of being without a lot of the sneaky studio magic that makes it sound polished. It's a simple song, so it would be kind of fun to revisit it in the future to maybe play live or to do a more balanced studio recording. Thank you for listening! Click the 🔔 for upload notifications!
