Description
English: This Violet has compound leaves and extremely dark upper petals. It is known from brushy places in northwest California and southwest Oregon, and is somewhat similar to the more widespread V. beckwithii. This image is from open serpentine at Kneeland Prairie, Humboldt County, California. May 7th 2017, image 0891.
