Description
Português: A pintura é proveniente da Sacristia da Igreja do Espírito Santo. Não se sabendo em que data exacta, sabe-se que devido às más condições em que aí se encontrava, a pintura foi transferida para a então Casa Pia Masculina no Convento de São Bento de Cástris, em Évora. Segundo correspondência existente no Museu de Évora sabe-se que na década de 60 o responsável por esta instituição terá pedido que a pintura fosse tratada na Oficina de Restauro. Estando a pintura pronta no ano de 1970, e por não existirem condições em São Bento de Cástris, é pedido à Direcção Geral do Ensino Superior e de Belas Artes que a pintura seja entregue à guarda do Museu de Évora.
