Diese Bessa zählte zum 2. Modell der „Zweiformat“-Reihe, die von 1937 bis 1945 hergestellt wurde. Im Gegensatz zur Vorgängerin konnten mit ihr durch Einlegen einer Metallmaske auch Aufnahmen im Format 4,5 x 6 cm gemacht werden, das ergab immerhin 16 statt 8 Aufnahmen auf dem 120er Rollfilm. Auch der Klappsucher (der sich übrigens beim Aufklappen der Kamera selbsttätig öffnete) hatte eine Maske für das kleinere Format. Bei eingelegter Formatmaske öffnete sich das Rotfenster für 4,5 x 6 cm automatisch! Erwähnenswert ist auch der praktische „Bodenauslöser“: Man konnte – die Kamera mit beiden Händen fest haltend - den Auslöser am Klappdeckel mit dem Finger recht erschütterungsfrei betätigen. Die meisten Modelle waren mit dem (unvergüteten) Dreilinser Voigtar 4,5/10,5 und verschiedenen Verschlüssen ausgerüstet, meine Ausführung immerhin mit dem lichtstarken „Voigtar 3,5/10,5 cm“ und dem damals besten Verschluss, dem Compur-Rapid. Nach dem Krieg gab auch Bessas (3. Modell) mit dem Vierlinser „Skopar“. Die Bessa war eines der erfolgreichsten Kameramodelle von Voigtländer, von 1930 bis 1950 sollen fast 600000 Stück gebaut worden sein. Der Preis für das abgebildete Modell betrug 88,- Reichsmark (1937). - Ein Geschenk der Familie Oelsner. Danke! - |
