| Description |
Deutsch: Der Wallfahrtsort Schöder wird speziell im Mai viel besucht, seit dem Mittelalter gehen z.B. die Wallfahrer von Oberzeiring in das 40km entfernte Schöder. Die Legende erzählt dabei, dass die Oberzeiringer zur Beendigung der Pest ein Gelübde abgelegt haben, dass sie jedes Jahr nach Schöder pilgern werden. Nach Ende der Pest haben die Oberzeiringer in Schöder die Singvögel eingefangen um wieder Leben in ihren Ort mit zu bringen. Damit sie das in den nächsten Jahren nicht mehr machen, haben die Schöderer begonnen, ihnen Vögel aus Teig mitzugeben. Die linke Abbildung zeigt so einen "Schöderer Vogel", der immer noch an die Wallfahrer verkauft wird.
