Description
English: View towards Vossevangen with surrounding valleys, hills and mountains in Voss municipality in the western part of Norway, seen from a gondola cabin going upwards on the Voss Gondol, an aerial passenger lift (gondolheis, taubane) opened in 2019.
The gondola cableway goes from the Voss Railway Station to the summit, ski resort, and hiking area of the Hangur mountain at 820 metres above sea level, north of the town.
The photo shows steel cables going over a supporting pylon tower (mast) and further down to the bottom station in Vossavangen, fog over Vangsvatnet lake, etc. The low November sun creates long shadows, colours the snowy landscape blue, and makes an early afternoon and evening.
