This election my vote felt... depressingly,,, discouragingly... disturbingly... puny... futile... wasted... and I actually tried to talk myself out of even going to the polls, but even in Texas, even in Humble, Texas in November of 2010, I had to do it, had to vote, had to make my one... tiny... voice... heard, and now I feel guilty for not having done more this year in the process that led up to this election. We get whom we vote for and we vote for whom our brains tell us to vote and our brains are only fed when we feed them, so, on November 2, in 2010, we are getting exactly what we deserve NOTE: Please excuse the dirty camera phone lens. I'd had to use the phone a lot and, clearly, not all the plaster I was working with made it to the walls. |
