Москва / ул. Воздвиженка, 8/1 строение 1

Бывш. «Наугольный» дом Н.П. Шереметева (Москва)

Особняк построен в 1790-х гг. для Алексея Кирилловича Разумовского, но еще до окончания стройки был выкуплен его шурином Николаем Петровичем Шереметевым. Внутреннюю отделку заканчивали уже после покупки, в 1799 г.

В 1801 г. именно в этом доме, после венчания, состоявшегося в церкви Симеона Столпника на Поварской, праздновали свою свадьбу, самую странную и легендарную тех времен, граф, сенатор, обер-камергер двора Николай Петрович и его молодая жена – Прасковья Ивановна Ковалёва (театральный псевдоним Жемчугова) – бывшая крепостная актриса шереметевского театра.
