English: South view of church of Ravanica Monastery, Vrdnik, Serbia
Deutsch: Südliche Ansicht des Katholikons bzw. der Klosterkirche Ravanica, in Vrdnik, Serbien. Das Katholikon von Ravanica hat einen charakteristischen Trikonchos-Grundriss mit fünf Kuppeln. Die Fassaden des Katholikons bestehen aus wechselnden Reihen von Hau- und Ziegelsteinen und sind durch Rundbogenfenster und keromoplastischen Schmuck belebt. Zwei Kranzgesimse gliedern die Außenmauern des Katholikons in drei horizontale Zonen, Halbsäulen und flache Rundbogennischen in vertikale Felder. |
