1318 wird das Amt Fischberg nach der Burg benannt.
Bezeichnung bis zum Jahre 1815. Vor allem auf der Nordseite
ehemalige urnenfeldzeitliche Ringwälle.
Im Mittelalter umgebaut und verformt zu Ackerterassen.
Archäologische Teiluntersuchungen 1992/1993.
