Description Theba geminata (Mousson, 1857)
English: Diameter 1,7 – 2,0 cm; Originating from the Cactus garden of the Centro de Artesanía Molino de Antigua, Antigua, Fuerteventura, Canary Islands, Spain. 28°25′52.54″N 14°0′47.58″W / 28.4312611°N 14.0132167°W / 28.4312611; -14.0132167; The plate shows seven shells of a larger amount of shells of one and the same population, collected in an area of only a few square meters. Although each shell in the population is somewhat different to others, the depicted sample gives a good impression on the range of variability. A population with a similar range of variation I also found at the resting place of the road FV-30 south of Valle de Santa Inés, 28°27′8.38″N 14°2′7.21″W / 28.4523278°N 14.0353361°W / 28.4523278; -14.0353361. Shells of own collection, therefore not geocoded.
