Museets beskrivelse: «Tysk soldat 1942: Denne infanteristen er satt opp med høst/vinter jakke felt (vendbar). Han er utstyrt med rifle, kamuflasjevotter (vendbare), anklets og bergjegerstøvler. Han har også gassmaske, gassvotter og ekstra veske i beltet, samt patrontasker i skinn. Hans ryggsekk er av «geiteskinn-typen». Han har snøbriller og en øyeskade, og bærer derfor lapp over venstre øye. Stridshjelm uten merker M1942. Han er også utstyrt med en «stavgranat». Alt utstyr er samlet inn i vårt nærmiljø etter andre verdenskrig. »
