Description
English: A C130J Hercules, crewed by members of 47 Squadron, conducted a flypast over Crewe to recognise a World War II Canadian Air Force Veteran celebrating his 100th Birthday. ZH889, flying as ZORRO had company, by way of a Royal Canadian Air Force CC-130H flying as BURMA with the pair flying together to recognise the veterans milestone. On-board ZORRO was also Flt Lt Stewart who took the controls of the Hercules for the final time as a member of 47 Squadron, before heading to the United States Navy to fly the likes of the T-6 Texan II as an Experimental Test Pilot.
