Description
English: Wakefield Hall, located at 2101 New Hampshire Avenue, N.W., (as viewed from the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue and V Street, N.W.) in the U Street Corridor of Washington, D.C. Built in 1925, the apartment house was designed by prominent architect B. Stanley Simmons. Wakefield Hall is designated as a contributing property to the Greater U Street Historic District, a historic district listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.
