Title
English: Walker Building at 2nd Ave. and University St., Seattle, circa 1906
Description
English:

This view of the northeast corner of Second Avenue and University Street in downtown includes the Walker Building. Cyrus Walker (1827-1913), an executive with the Puget Mill Company, built this commercial investment property in 1903. The building was demolished in the late 1980s and the location is occupied by the Seattle Symphony's Benaroya Hall. The building material and debris blocking University Street to the north seems to indicate that the street was under construction.
