Description

The Walnut Grove Bridge, a 1950 double-leaf bascule bridge across the Sacramento River in Walnut Grove, California, with its bascule lift span raised to allow a sailboat to pass. This view shows only the north/west half, or leaf, of the bascule span; the south/east leaf is just out of frame to the left.
