Description
English: Fabulous "human-fish" renyu人魚. Said to live on Mt. Longhou (龍侯山, "Dragon-Marquis Mountain") in Jueshui (決水, "Bursting River") which flows eastward into the Yellow River. It resembles a tiyu (䱱魚, which could be giant salamander or catfish) with four legs, and makes noise like a human baby, while eating it provides cure to idiocy, according to this (Wang Fu ed.) text.
