Description

Deutsch: Das Wappen des Königsreichs Bayern auf der bayerischen Seite der 1903 errichteten Länderbrücke über die Salzach zwischen Laufen (Bayern) und Oberndorf (Salzburg).

Das Hauptschild oben links mit dem Pfälzer Löwen, dem Wappenzeichen der bis 1946 zu Bayern gehörenden Pfalz. Das zweite Feld oben rechts zeigt den „Fränkischer Rechen“ für den Landesteil Franken. Im dritten Feld unten rechts der von einer goldenen Krone gekrönte Löwe, das Wappentier der Grafschaft Pfalz-Veldenz, stellvertretend für die nördliche Rheinpfalz. Das vierte Feld unten links mit dem Wappen der Markgrafschaft Burgau steht für den Landesteil Schwaben.

Im Herzschild in den bayerischen Landesfarben Weiß-Blau das Wappen der Wittelsbacher. Die goldene Krone steht für das Königtum.
