Description
English: Warsaw Uprising: Two barricades on the corner of Karolkowa and Żytnia Streets, in Wola district. Photo from Karolkowa South towards intersection with Żytnia Street. Second "light barricade", in the back, was build in the first days of the Uprising and letter fortified and improved by military engineers.
Polski: Powstanie Warszawskie: Dwie barykady na rogu Karolkowej i Żytniej na Woli. Zdjęcie wykonano ulicy Karolkowej w kierunku południowym, w stronę skrzyżowania z ul. Żytnią. Druga "lekka barykada", w głębi, została zbudowana w pierwszych dniach Powstania. W późniejszych dniach została ona wzmacniana i przebudowywana z pomacą saperów.
