Description

Mid 15th century glass with scrolls of mottoes and the words & music of Gloria in Excelsis in the tracery of the east window.

The motto is "Louez Spencer tant que vyray" or Praise Spencer as long as I live". After Richard Beauchamp married Isabella Despencer he became Lord Despencer. The lower lights contain red seraphim carrying musical scrolls. they stand on yellow wheels.
