Summary

Description
English: Chinese Rock Giant at Wat Pho, Bangkok. Chinese rock giants found as gate guardians were ballast from the ancient trading travels to China. This particular giant represents "Lan Than", Chinese nobeleman warriors with weapons in Chinese Opera style clothes. Other giants in European clothes represent Marco Polo. There are four pairs of Marco Polo statues in Wat Pho.
