Description
English: Watalinga, North Kivu, DRC - FARDC, MONUSCO and UPDF met on Saturday January 22, 2022 in Watalinga, in the eponymous chiefdom, bordering Uganda. The discussions revolved around the responsibility of each party in the ADF tracking operations in Beni region. The objective of this tripartite was in fact to assign to each force its area of responsibility, its operational mission and to set out the mechanism for collaboration between the parties. Français : Watalinga, Nord-Kivu, RDC - Les FARDC, la Monusco et l’UPDF ont échangé samedi 22 janvier 2022 à Watalinga, dans la chefferie éponyme, frontalière avec l’Ouganda. Les échanges ont tourné autour de la responsabilité de chaque partie dans les opérations de traque des ADF dans la région de Beni. L’objectif de cette tripartite était en effet de donner à chaque force sa zone de responsabilité, sa mission opérationnelle et de définir le mécanisme de collaboration entre les parties.
