Water-gauge
Wasserstandsanzeiger: Maritimes Denkmal von 1903, bis 1973 in Betrieb, jetzt kein offizielles Seezeichen mehr, Höhe: 32 m, in Europa vermutlich einzigartig. Durch Aufziehen der Bälle und Kegel zeigt er der Schiffahrt den Wasserstand der Weser im Bereich der Geestemündung an. Der Signalarm auf der Spitze zeigt auflaufendes, ablaufendes Wasser bzw. Stillstand an. Der Unterschied zwischen Hoch- und Niedrigwasser beträgt hier ca. 3,80 m. Der Anzeiger wurde für museale und touristische Zwecke restauriert und 2003 wieder in Betrieb genommen. Die Finanzierung erfolgte über die Stiftung Wohnliche Stadt, Vereine und engagierte Privatpersonen. Die Hochschule Bremerhaven realisierte den automatischen Betrieb und eine elektrische Schautafel.
