English: Waterside Farm and Church Hill The lane leads down to Waterside Farm, one of the buildings of which can be seen in the middle ground. Beyond is the old course of the Aln estuary, now much silted. Beyond that is Church Hill. The chapel seen is not the original church on church hill, which was gradually eroded away, but is probably a chapel associated with the burial ground. |
