Description

In La Grande Motte, in the South of France, there are several interesting buildings. This one is in the shape of a wave, see here over one of the busy marinas.

The architect of the resort-city wanted to create it from a blank slate, French architect Jean Balladur was inspired by lost civilizations of the past. His designs echo the architecture of grand Mayan ruins with some added flair from the 1960s, forming a busy seaside resort.
