Deutsch: Luftaufnahme von Weilburg, Hessen, Deutschland. Staatliche Technikakademie (seit 2010) vormals Fachschule für Technik - der Staatlichen Technikerschule Weilburg, davor ehemaliges Pädagogisches Institut. Zusammen mit dem Wohnheim "Windhof" in idealer Umgebung eine Weiterbildungseinrichtung mit überregionaler Bedeutung. Erbaut als "Neue Kaserne". Der Grundstein zu ihrem Bau wurde am 04.12.1911 gelegt und ihrer Bestimmung übergeben wurde sie am 27.09.1913. Beauftragt hatte den Kasernenbau das preußische Kriegsministerium, der Entwurf dazu stammte von dem Kgl. Baurat Winkelmann und Regierungsbaumeister Groß. Die Neue Kaserne wurde bei ihrer Eröffnung als Musterbau vorgestellt und war konzipiert für die Aufnahme der seit 1877 in der Hainkaserne (Alte Kaserne) untergebrachten Unteroffiziersvorschule. Ausgebildet wurde in der Neuen Kaserne nicht nur der Heeresnachwuchs, sondern auch die Zöglinge der Zivilverwaltung. Das Kasernengelände umfasste ein Hauptgebäude und mehrere Wohnhäuser, Nebengebäude, Gärten, den Exerzierplatz und einen Rasenspielplatz. Das Hauptgebäude ist 120 m breit und beherbergte zur Eröffnung 317 Räumen; es war der größte Bau Weilburgs nach dem Schloss.
