English: Well Cottage, Towngate Road, Worrall Described in the local 'Countryside Survey' as being built in 1867. A two storey cottage, with stone framed casement windows but with the stone mullions removed! There is a stone flag roof with gable ends finished with verge stones and corbels. There is a well in front of the cottage - hence the name. The extension to the right of the original building was constructed using stones from a similarly dated barn |
