| Description | Wells Cathedral (St. Andrew), 6 April 2015. Construction began Bishop Reginald de Bohun in 1175 in Early English style and cathedral was consecrated in 1239. East End remodelled in 14th Century, Decorated style, when central tower also built. West towers 15th century Perpendicular style. The picture shows the 14th Century Decorated quire, and central tower and the 13th Century Early English South Transept. |
