| Description | Gedenkstein für die Gefallenen des Luftwaffenfestungs-Bataillon XXIV, die hier im Hürtgenwald vorwiegend als Infanteristen zum Einsatz kamen. Der Gedenkstein wurde am 16. November 2002 von Angehörigen des Bataillons aufgestellt und trägt unter einem Luftwaffenadler mit Eisernem Kreuz im Eichenlaubkranz die Inschrift: „UVS/US d. Lw │ Luftwaffenfestungs-Bataillon XXIV │ Oktober 1944 │ Simonskall │ Zum Gedenken an unsere hier gefallenen Kameraden“. |
