| Description |
Deutsch: Der Weltraumspiegel besteht aus einem Netzwerk von 10 km großen Maschen, in die jeweils ein vollbeweglicher Einzel-Spiegel eingebaut ist. Sie bilden einen Gesamt-Spiegel von bis zu 300 km Durchmesser. Das Netzwerk wird durch gegenläufige, rasch (bis 1.000 km/h) umlaufende Ringpaare gespreizt. Zwei weitere solch umlaufender Ring-Paare stehen senkrecht zur Netzebene und senkrecht aufeinander. Sie dienen der Steuerung der Netzebene, die mit ihrer Hilfe in jede gewünschte Lage gebracht werden kann.
