Deutsch: Werderscher Markt in Berlin; Aquatinta von Friedrich August Calau (um 1810). Das große Gebäude im Mittelpunkt ist die Königliche Münze, erbaut von 1798-1800 von Architekt Heinrich Gentz, 1886 abgebrochen. Links steht die alte Friedrichswerdersche Kirche, ein um 1700 zur Kirche umgebautes Stallgebäude; es wurde um 1820 abgerissen für den Neubau von Karl Friedrich Schinkel, rechts neben der Kirche die Einmündung der Niederlagstraße
English: Werderscher Markt in Berlin; aquatint by Friedrich August Calau (around 1810). The large building in tthe center is the Royal Mint, built 1798 to 1800 by architect Heinrich Gentz, demolished in 1886. On the left stands the old Friedrichswerder Church, a former stable which had been converted into a church around 1700. It was demolished around 1820 to make room for a new church by the same name, built by Karl Friedrich Schinkel.
