| Description |
English: West Dean College Built in 1804 for the Peachey family the then Lords of the Manor. The last, Edward James inherited the estate in 1934 before setting up a charitable trust for arts and crafts and converting the house into a college which opened in 1971. The college concentrates on conservation-restoration and visual applied arts which include tapestry and musical instrument making. This view is from the church yard of St Andrews. |
