September 1944 gefallenen deutschen und amerikanischen Soldaten erinnert. Sie stehen stellvertretend für alle Opfer der beiden Weltkriege des 20. Jahrhunderts. — This Monument commemorates the American and German Soldiers, who died here on September 12th and 13th, 1944. Representing all the victims in the World Wars of the 20th Century. — Richard Spencer Burrows, 1st Lieutenant 3. US Armd.Div. US Army, who was killed in action on September 12th, 1944 — der hier am 12. September gefallen ist. — Heinrich Brunk, Oberfeldwebel, Ersatz- und Ausb. Btl 328, Deutsche Wehrmacht, gefallen am 13. September 1944,, killed in action on September 13th, 1944." Die Gedenkplatte aus Granit wurde im September 2023 zerstört[1]. |
