Description
English: Westwood, Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire, England.
The Black Mill, also formerly known as Westwood Far Mill and Baitson's Mill, was erected 1803 and today's stump occupies the highest point of the Westwood. Grade II Listed Building Link.

In 1802 Joseph Baitson was granted a lease of 65 years on condition that he built a new mill consisting of a brick tower and four sails. Consequential of fire damage and the collapse of the sails, the timber part of the mill was dismantled by the Pasture Masters in 1868, but the tower remained.
