| Description |
English: Wet moorland, Byrehope Mount. Wet ground with a drainage ditch beside a fence. This is an ideal place to find that great Norwegian delicacy, Cloudberry/Moltebær. (Rubus chamaemorus). There are plans to farm it in the north of Norway.
The southern Pentlands are more gentle than the popular Edinburgh end, but this means drainage is poor and there are some fine peatbogs. |
