Description
English: Wetherby Racecourse railway station (site), Yorkshire
Opened in 1924 by the London & North Eastern Railway on the line from Church Fenton to Harrogate, this station closed in 1959. View south east towards Thorp Arch and Church Fenton, taken from the trackbed. The two parallel platforms had been either side. The concrete backing wall of the northbound platform to the far right of the image is hidden by undergrowth. The southbound platform to the left has been removed.
