Description
Deutsch: Kulturdenkmal, vom Sächsischen Landesamt für Denkmalpflege unter der Nummer 09305951 eingestuft als "Gedenkstein zum 800jährigen Regierungsjubiläum des Fürstenhauses Wettin; von ortsgeschichtlicher und landesgeschichtlich-dynastischer Bedeutung bez. 1889", s. auch Liste der Kulturdenkmale in Eibenstock#Carlsfeld.
Vom Ortsausgang des Ortsteils Wilzschhaus in Richtung Neues Wiesenhaus zweigt nach etwa 735 Meter links der Kramsbachweg ab. An diesem Weg ist nach wenigen Metern der Gedenkstein vor einer alten Buche zu finden (die vermutlich gleichzeitig gepflanzt wurde). Diese Stelle mit dem Wettinstein wurde Wettinplatz genannt, s. Äquiditantenkarte 145 -Section Eibenstock- aus dem Jahr 1897 Im Messtischblatt von 1926 ist diese Stelle als Wettin-Buche eingetragen.
