| Description |
English: Where's the river? Canoeists aren't always found on water ! The population of Masham is so overtly hostile to canoeists that most paddlers wanting to do this section of the River Ure prefer to drag their boats a kilometre from the road down to Hackfall Wood to put on well downstream of stone-throwing anglers. Fortunately, the footpath is usually wet and muddy, and is consistently downhill, so this isn't too much of a chore. |
