Description

Lt. Gen. Todd Semonite, commanding general of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and 54th chief of Engineers, and Command Sgt. Maj. Bradley Houston, USACE command sergeant major, toured Wiesbaden High School with Dr. Sandra Whitaker, principal of the first 21st-century high school for the Department of Defense Education Activity worldwide, Col. John Baker, Europe District commander, and key program and project managers.

During the tour of the high school and middle school construction site, they filmed “On the Road Again: LTG Semonite at Wiesbaden School Complex” (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-akp2zjyfQ&feature=youtu.be" rel="nofollow">www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-akp2zjyfQ&feature=youtu.be</a>)

Europe District manages the design and construction of more than 30 schools and facilities in current and future years valued at more than $1 billion throughout Germany and Belgium. These military construction projects carried out by the district and its partners will enhance the educational environment for over 14,000 students across Europe. These students represent the future of our nation, which makes the school projects major quality investments that will have a lasting impact for decades to come.
