Deutsch: Am Nachmittag des 26. Mai 2017 fotografierte ich im Landschaftsschutzgebiet Forggensee. Beim Blick über den See fielen mir die unterschiedlichen Blau- und Grüntöne auf. Der Forggensee wird im Herbst abgelassen und im Frühjahr wieder vom Lech aufgefüllt. Er ist mit 16 Quadratkilometern Fläche der größte künstlich angelegte Stausee Deutschlands und der fünftgrößte See in Bayern. 1954 wurde er fertiggestellt und dient neben der direkten Energiegewinnung in Wasserkraftwerken besonders nach der Schneeschmelze in den Alpen als wichtiges Hochwasserregelierungssystem. Im Sommer ist der Forggensee ein beliebtes Naherholungsziel: Rundfahrten mit Ausflugsschiffen ab Füssen werden von Anfang Juni bis zum 15. Oktober durchgeführt, und auch für Wassersportler und Wanderer finden sich zahlreiche Möglichkeiten. |
