עברית: כנס אקדמיית ויקיפדיה הוא הכנס המוביל והמרכזי המציג את מיזמי קרן ויקימדיה וטכנולוגיית ויקי במדינת ישראל. הכנס הינו כנס מקצועי ואקדמי, הבוחן את שילובן של מערכות ויקי ומערכות תוכן חופשי במערכת האקדמית, החינוכית והעסקית, כמו גם השפעת טכנולוגיית הוויקי על הנגשת המידע לציבור בישראל. כנס אקדמיית ויקיפדיה השישי שנערך השנה ב-1 ביוני במרכז הבינתחומי הרצליה שם דגש מיוחד על שאלת עתידה של ויקיפדיה והאם האנציקלופדיה המקוונת, תישאר- מאגר הידע הגדול בעולם? המרצה המרכזי בכנס היה מר Jan Bart De Vreede יושב ראש קרן ויקימדיה העולמית
