DescriptionWillebrew ticket, FC Moore, Saffron Walden c.1970 - Flickr - sludgegulper.jpg |
FC Moore, an old established firm, operated a bus service which connected Audley End station and Saffron Walden town (which had lost its railway service when the branch to Haverhill had closed in the 1960s) They traded from a very olde-worlde town centre garage with a lovely oily smell and used the Willebrew ticket system. The firm is still trading, now known as VIceroy of Essex and has expanded its bus services in the north west essex border area. |
